Ugh yeah. I was too excited to put out the 4.0.0 release and totally missed bumping the
changelog. I did update the changelog in a separate commit so maybe that'll trigger
tagging 4.0.0 on the git repo. If not, I can manually backfill that.
I've since put out 4.0.1 that prevents a release if the changelog doesn't also
match the version constant and the VERSION variable used on the release command.
