Run `ruby test.rb` 3. Ruby would crash (an example crash report is attached below) ### Implication I learned this pattern from the [bootsnap gem](https://github.com/Shopify/bootsnap). It defines `Bootsnap::LoadPathCache.enabled?` this way, which is used to patch [`Kernel.require`](https://github.com/Shopify/bootsnap/blob/main/lib/bootsnap/load_path_cache/core_ext/kernel_require.rb#L9).
